Let’s find \(30\%\) of 50.

First find \(10\%\) by dividing by 10.

\[10\% \text{ of } 50 = 50 \div 10 = 5\]


Find 30% by multiplying the 10% by 3.

\[10\% \text{ of } 50 = 5\]

\[30\% \text{ of } 50 = 5 \times 3 = 30\]
